The GE DS200FCGDH1BAA is a Gate Distribution and Status Card designed for GE’s LCI series and Speedtronic Mark V turbine control systems. As a critical interface board, it manages 6-pulse, phase-controlled non-reversing bridges by receiving SCR firing data from the DS200DSPC, distributing precise gating signals, monitoring cell status, processing bridge feedback, and transmitting diagnostics via the VME backplane.
Physically, it follows the 6U VME standard, features a six-layer structure with double-sided SMDs, and mounts in VME racks alongside the DSPC for low-latency communication. It includes a front faceplate, two rear male connectors, and key components like a Xilinx FPGA. A system reset initializes registers to default states, while a heartbeat confirms operation—failure disables gating and requires a hard reset.
